Guo Xinping
Chairman and President

X.P. Guo is one of China’s principal innovators and business leaders in the areas of GNSS technology and application solutions.

With more than 20 years of technical background and industrial experience in the fields of GPS and now GNSS centric technology, X.P. has pioneered many of today’s highest volume market segments as well as high precision industrial application areas in China.

His unique perspective for global industry trends has enabled him to participate in GNSS business activities throughout the world.

He and his professional businesses have created the products and technology of UniStrong to serve companies in more than 40 basic fields of the national economy providing long-term, sustainable advantages.

X.P. holds a Masters degree in Communication and Electronic Systems with a focus in GNSS, as well as an EMBA from Guanghua Management School at Peking University.

Guo Siqing
Vice President

With 40 years of experience in surveying, Mr. Guo is President and CEO of Stonex since January 2017.

He graduated in aerospace department of Wuhan institute surveying and mapping in 1984; later he began to teach at Zhengzhou surveying and mapping school for 8 years.

In the 1993, began to work in South Surveying & Mapping Instrument Co. Ltd, firstly as General manager of South Engineering CO.Ltd, subsequently as Deputy general manager of South surveying and mapping instruments Co.,Ltd, General manager of South digital technology.,Ltd andGeneral manager of South Navigation Co., Ltd.

In 2012 founded Guangzhou Geoelectron Technology Co.,Ltd., Guangzhou Geooptical technology.,Ltd., Guangzhou Situoli Surveying and Mapping technology Co.,Ltd.

Finally, in 2015 he was appointed Vice President of the Beijing Unistrong Group.

Cao Hongjie
Vice President

Cao Hongjie, doctoral degree, senior engineer, Tongji University degree in measurement. He served as Deputy Director of Technology Development Department of China Academy of Surveying and Mapping, Ministry of Science and Technology National Remote Sensing Center Project Officer, National High Technology Research and Development (863) Plan Ocean Area Marine Monitoring Technology (818) Deputy Director of the Office of the Office of International Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS) China Coordinating Committee contact person, in 2013, Beijing 100 leading talent. The current group vice president and general manager of Beidou navigation location service (Beijing) Co., Ltd.

Wu Lin
R & D Vice President

Specializes in Beidou navigation and GNSS high-precision core components and product research and development work. Senior engineer.
From 1999 to 2003, he was the deputy general manager of Xi'an Dongqiang Electronic Navigation Co., Ltd., presided over the development of GPS handset, car navigation products and sales in overseas markets.
In 2004 to join the United States think Zhuang, as Hezhong think strong wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Yi Luo, deputy general manager, from 2004 to 2010, support the development of the RTK measurement receiver, handheld, GIS acquisition terminal, automotive multimedia navigation terminal, PND and other products.
2010 set up high-precision product research and development, to carry out high-precision receiver board, high-precision antenna, Beidou RDSS terminal and driving test and agricultural automatic driving system research and development work.
2011 ~ 2013 set up Shenzhen R & D and Shenzhen factory, to carry out overseas ODM business and product custom development services.
Major honors: won the second prize of scientific and technological progress of the former Ministry of Electronics Industry. Median satellite navigation and positioning outstanding works and product first prize. China Geographic Information Association third prize of scientific and technological progress.

Wang Shengguang
Vice President

In March 2000 he joined Unistrong as the navigation department sales engineer and has since gone to become manager of the navigation department, accounts manager, GM of  Beijing Navigation company, and is now the head manager of the public safety center.

In 1994, she joined Unistrong, and she is responsible for the financial management, operation management and information management of the Company. She is currently the chief financial officer for the company.

Huang Haihui
Vice President

Having worked at Unistrong for 20 years, Huang Haihui has experience in sales, product management, business development and strategic cooperation plan among many others. He has also helped develop a number of innovative applications: board ship, tire hanging, driving test prototype and is currently focusing on the power industry.

Shen Jun
Chief scientist

Dr. Jun Shen received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Waterloo, Canada in 1993. He also received an Executive MBA degree from Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California, USA, in 2000. During the past 35 years, he has been in many key academic, technical and managerial positions in the fields of information technology, satellite telecommunications and satellite navigation. He worked at Concordia University (Canada), Hughes Space and Communication Company (USA), Sino-I.com Co. (Hong Kong), and ProtoStar Ltd. (USA). Currently, Dr. Shen is Deputy Director, International Cooperation Center of China Satellite Navigation Office (CSNO), a member of the CSNO’s technical expert group. He also works as Chief Scientist of UniStrong Science and Technology Corporation, which is one of leading GNSS technology companies in China. In addition, he is a joint professor in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Zhejiang University, and a senior advisor for the Key Technology Lab of Satellite Navigation at Shanghai Jiaotong University. In 2016, He was appointed to the co-chair of the Application Sub-working group of International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG). He has published over 70 technical papers and books.

Zuo Yuli

In 1992, Zuo Yuli graduated from the Zhengzhou Institute of Aeronautical Industry Management, has in the aviation business, the Bureau of Justice notary office, advertising companies, securities companies, real estate companies. In 2011, she joined UniStrong and has been the chief executive officer. She is mainly responsible for the company's investment management and capital management. She is assisting the president in implementing the strategy and business planning. She is also responsible for the continuous improvement of the company's management system and the company's quality management system manager.

Werner Gartner
Chairman of the Board & Finance & Audit Chair – Hemisphere GNSS

Werner Gartner has over 23 years executive/board experience with technology based businesses, primarily in the GPS/GNSS and wireless sector. Currently, in addition to his role as Chairman of the Board and advisor with Hemisphere GNSS, Mr. Gartner serves on the board of directors and/or advises several technology companies, including Trusted Positioning Inc., Psyko Audio Labs and Wedge Networks. He is a member of the Business Advisory Committee of Tecterra Inc., a government (Canada) funded organization mandated to spur the development and commercialization of geomatics technologies. In addition, Mr. Gartner is a member of the A100, an organization composed of technology company founders and entrepreneurs, whose focus is to grow the Alberta technology sector.

Previously, Mr. Gartner was part of the management team at NovAtel Inc. (NASDAQ:NGPS) from 1990 to 2007 that successfully grew its GPS based business from a divisional start-up to a market leader. As CFO, he was a key to NovAtel Inc.’s IPO in 1997 on NASDAQ, and its subsequent increase in market value from US $50M to US $450M, prior to its acquisition by Hexagon AB. In addition, Mr. Gartner previously held a variety of board seats, including NovAtel Inc., Point Inc., (a joint venture between NovAtel and Sokkia of Japan) until Sokkia’s merger with Topcon, Mezure Inc., and Dynastream Innovations until its sale to Garmin Ltd in 2006. Mr. Gartner received a B.Sc. from the Western University in Ontario, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Rodger Conner
Member of the Board & Secretary & Legal – Hemisphere GNSS

Rodger Conner is a lawyer with over 35 years of experience in corporate and commercial law both in private practice and in industry. Prior to establishing Conner & Conner Professional Corporation, Rodger was a partner with McCarthy Tetrault, a national Canadian law firm. Prior to that Rodger was Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Bralorne Resources Limited. Over the course of his career Rodger has advised a number of clients in the GPS/GNSS field. Rodger has provided legal advice to both private and publicly listed companies. Rodger received his law degree from the University of Alberta in 1975.

Farlin Halsey
President & CEO – Hemisphere GNSS

With over 25 years of executive leadership experience in the high-technology electronics industry, Mr. Halsey brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Hemisphere. Serving in a range of executive officer and senior management capacities, he has extensive proven experience in GNSS OEM sales market segments including construction, agriculture, survey and mapping, GIS, automotive, personal (mobile) navigation, handheld devices, application software, and electronic components and modules.

Prior to joining Hemisphere, Mr. Halsey’s executive leadership positions included President and CEO of RF Monolithics, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wireless connectivity products used in integrated circuits, certified modules, and machine-to-machine applications. He facilitated the sale of the company to Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd., where he most recently served as Vice President of Strategic Marketing for Murata Electronics Americas.
